April 2017
Dear Mr./Mrs.,

Over the past few years, Nyenrode Business Universiteit has enjoyed rapid income growth and healthy profits. However, we are not resting on our laurels, and have set ourselves specific new goals to continue building on our strengths.

In the first part of this year, we have begun updating our strategy. Much of the existing Strategy 2020 has already been achieved, and we need to alter course in other areas. We are working on this with stakeholders inside and outside the university, with an emphasis on our international strategy, increasing our research output, and optimizing our business processes.

Moreover, digital technology will be playing a more important role in our world and within Nyenrode as well. Over the coming years, we will implement a new Learning Management System to create an even better experience for students and program participants. There are many opportunities to make more use of blended learning, and we will be adapting the curricula of our programs accordingly.

Our strategy as an organization requires specific action, set out each spring in year plans that serve as the basis for departmental budgets.

By linking strategy to practical changes and financial resources, we believe we are creating a sound basis for positive results in the years to come.

Remmelt Vetkamp
Finance Director

We are stepping up research in this area, and have also introduced a Certified Economic Valuer of Real Estate post-masters program, put together by experts in the field.
